watch (8/8/07)
Terrance buggy
Kincaid, McDowell senior RB (5-11,
205) Rushed for an area-leading regular season total of
2,156 yards on 235 carries (9.2ypc) and 20 touchdowns.
Kincaid average 48.4 yards per touchdown run which ranks
second highest in N.C. history. McDowell finished 3-8.
Kincaid also set school records for rushing in a game (382)
and season, and for rushing touchdowns (20).
Derrick Overholt,
Polk County senior WR (6-2, 185) North Carolina Prep
Football News preseason all-state selection caught 49 passes
for 941 yards (19.20ypc) and 13 touchdowns last season. On
defense, Overholt registered 90 tackles with six
interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and seven pass
deflections.
Justin Wynn, T.C.
Roberson senior RB (6-0, 195) Named Mountain Athletic
Conference Offensive Player of the Year after rushing for an
area-high 1,992 yards on 330 carries (6.04ypc) and 21
touchdowns. Career totals include 2,487 yards on 413
carries (6.02ypc) and 28 touchdowns.
Langston Wood,
Cherokee senior RB (6-0, 195) Rushed for 1,932 yards on
174 carries (11.10ypc) and scored 28 touchdowns. Career
totals include 3,576 yards on 413 carries (9.56ypc) and 48
touchdowns.
Josh Young,
Franklin senior LB/RB (6-0, 215) Registered 79 total
tackles (second on team) on defense and has tallied 195 for
his career. On offense, Young rushed for 659 yards on 133
carries (4.95ypc) and four touchdowns, while catching 14
passes for 154 yards.
Rahkeem Morgan,
Asheville senior QB/CB (6-0, 170) Rushed for 627 yards on
117 carries (5.36ypc) and scored five touchdowns. Connected
on 77-of-146 (30.1%) pass attempts for 1,223 yards with 10
touchdowns and five interceptions. On defense, registered
42 tackles with one fumble recovery and eight pass breakups.

Roberson senior DB (6-0, 195) One of the areas hardest
hitters earned All-Mountain Athletic Conference honors
despite missing half the season due to knee injury.
Registered 118 total tackles with three tackles-for-loss, a
sack, and one forced fumble on defense.
Dion Wilson, Owen
senior RB (6-0, 195) Mr. Everything rushed for 829 yards
on 119 carries (6.97ypc) and eight touchdowns, while
registering 60 total tackles, three tackles-for-loss, two
interceptions, and a fumble recovery on defense.
Randy Pressley,
North Buncombe junior QB/RB Rushed for 575 yards on 105
carries (5.48ypc) and five touchdowns before suffering
season-ending injury midway thru
the season.
Chad Harris,
Brevard senior OL (6-4, 320) Earned All-Western Athletic
Conference honors with 13 pancake blocks and anchoring a
line that produced two 1,000-yard rushers in Quentin
Robinson (1,386 yards, 17 touchdowns) and Nathan Norman
(1,040 yards, 12 touchdowns). Harris is a three-year starter
for the Blue Devils.
Christian Vose,
Franklin senior QB (6-0, 185) Completed 84-of-160 pass
attempts (52.5%) for 1,378 yards with 13 touchdowns and 10
interceptions as a first year starter.
Darius Spencer, A.C.
Reynolds senior RB (5-10, 180) All-conference selection
ran for 1,309 yards on 162 carries (8.08ypc) and 18
touchdowns as a junior. Career totals include 191 attempts
for 1,616 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Ian Reese, Murphy
senior WR Ran for 751 yards on 67 carries (11.21ypc) and
caught 39 passes for 687 yards (17.62ypc) with 15 total TDs.
Also returned 11 punts for 219 yards with two touchdowns and
20 kickoffs for 409 yards and one score.

Reynolds senior QB (6-2, 200) First year starter attempted
only one pass as a junior.
Luke Charles,
Murphy junior QB Completed 101-of-207 passes (48.8%) for
1,697 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Tyler Jaynes,
Pisgah junior QB Played in three games following junior
varsity schedule, but did not attempt a pass.
Jonathan Shively,
Hayesville senior QB (6-2, 205) All-Conference performer
connected on 109-of-195 passes (55.9%) for 1,934 yards and
26 touchdowns

Ryan Stiles,
Murphy senior OL Earned Co-Smoky Mountain Conference
Lineman of the Year award with Cherokees Thumper Rattler
after helping the Bulldogs average 343 yards of offense a
game. Stiles tallied 116 total tackles and six sacks on
defense.
Regis Bittle, Polk
County senior OL/DL (6-0, 295) - All-Western Highlands
Conference pick led Polk defense, which allowed just 8.6
points per game, in tackles with 130. Had 41 tackles for
loss, 12 sacks and one forced fumble and became the first
lineman in the Bruce Ollis era to lead the Wolverines in
tackles.
Aaron Reese, Owen
AB/P (5-11, 175) Completed 62-of-133 passes (46.6%) for
973 yards with 12 touchdowns and ran 96 times for 320 yards
and seven more scores. Selected NCPFN preseason honorable
mention all-state as a punter where he averaged 38.1 yards
last season. On defense Reese registered 47 total tackles,
four tackles-for-loss, a sack, and one interception
Josh Adams, Tuscola
sophomore RB Rushed for 815 yards on 214 carries (3.81ypc)
and scored three touchdowns, while catching three passes for
26 yards.
Brad Bermudez,
Pisgah senior RB Rushed for 1,185 yards on 184 carries
(6.44ypc) and 20 touchdowns. Split time with Joey Eggleston
(862 yards) last year, but will be the main ball carrier
this season.
Jared Conard,
Pisgah senior WR Caught 29 passes for 470 yards (16.21ypc)
and four touchdowns.
Greg Ray,
Asheville junior RB (5-8,
160) Rushed for 308 yards on 73 carries (4.2ypc) and eight
touchdowns, while catching five passes for 81 yards
(16.2ypc).
Cory Hipp, Swain
County senior QB (5-9, 155) Threw for 1,234 yards on
92-of-190 passing (48.4%) and two touchdowns. Also ran for
503 yards on 141 carries and eight touchdowns.
Madison Davis,
Tuscola QB Passed 84-of-173 (48.6%) for 794 yards with
four touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 11 games.
Tyler Brosius,
Tuscola QB Connected on 18-of-37 passes for 292 yards with
two touchdowns and three interceptions during last three
games of 2006.
Sage Frady, Tuscola
junior WR (6-2, 180) Caught 32 passed for 560 yards
(17.5ypc) and four touchdowns as a sophomore.
Michael Robinson,
East Henderson junior RB (5-9, 155) Rushed for 791 yards
on 115 carries (6.88ypc) and nine touchdowns as a sophomore.
